September we had two Guest Stampers Antoinette Randazzo-Bay and Kimberly Vecchio Walker. Each got to chose a stamp set and create projects to share with us every Thursday.
Here's Antoinette's cards and descriptions:
Hi Sweet Stampeders. Today is my first post as a guest stamper for our team. I chose to use the Graceful Garden stamp set for this month. It's a bit challenging with only two sentiments but I love flower images and this was a set I did not have so I wanted to give it a go. I hope you enjoy it.Stamp Set: Graceful Garden
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Inks: Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Versamark
Other: Watercolor Paper, Pattern Party Decorative Masks, Embossing Powders, Iridescent Sequins
Hello Sweet Stampeders. It’s time for another “Guest Stamper” project. I am using the “Graceful Garden” stamp set for the month of September.
For this card I wanted to use the leaves and smaller flower image in the set as a background to make my own DSP – using StazOn, Petal Pink & Garden Green inks to watercolor. Also, I added a bit of Smokey Slate around the rose after I saw Erica’s tip this week about creating a shadow. Additionally, I stamped the rose on the base of the card and then I used watercolor paper to stamp the rose again and fussy cut it so that I could add dimension to the rose image and I think the pearls and ribbon just add a bit of elegance.
I hope you enjoy this week’s project. Have a great day!
Hi everyone. Following is my third card as a Guest Stamper. This week I once again used the small flower and leaf images in this stamp set as the focal point instead of a background image. Watercolored with Powder Pink and Pear Pizazz. Stamped the leaf image in Powder Pink on Powder Pink CS. I also used the Subtle EF on the Whisper White CS. The flowers and leaves are fussy cut and I used dimensionals on a few flowers. For the sentiment I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to color each word individually so that I was able to stamp them in a straight line instead of stacked like they are in the stamp. The Irridescent Sequins put the final touch on this card.
There is one stamp in this set that I have not used yet, but it will make an appearance in next weeks post.
Hope you have a great day.
Good morning Sweet Stampeders. Today I am posting my last card as a Guest Stamper for our team. It’s been great fun working with the Graceful Garden stamp set, but for this card I also used the Beautiful Day set because I wanted a long thin sentiment. The trellis background has finally made an appearance on this card in Smoky Slate. The roses are watercolored in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape and the leaves in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. Added a bit of bling. I hope you enjoyed my cards these past four weeks.
Can’t wait to see Krystal’s projects as the next Guest Stamper. Have fun with it Krystal.
Thanks, Erica for starting the Guest Stamper. It’s been fun!!!
Thank you so much Antoinette for sharing these beautiful cards! You took a not very popular set and made some beautiful cards that would be perfect samples to share!
